The Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber is a sealed compartment in which horses are exposed to very high concentrations of oxygen. By creating an oxygen-enriched environment and increasing the pressure, the amount of oxygen in the blood can increase by as much as 15 times the normal level. The goal of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber is to increase the amount of oxygen delivered to the injured tissue to help it to heal. Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy can be used to:
Improve and speed healing
Reduce inflammation and swelling
Fight infections
Effective alone or with other therapies
The Aqua-Tred is an underwater equine treadmill. This piece of equipment is exceptional for training, rehabilitation and sales preparation. The Aqua-Tread allows horses to rehabilitate or build muscles in a low-stress underwater environment.
